The Adventures of Cocky Sparrow is produced in four parts, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
Mother Nature is displayed in kind mode and also in unremitting savagery.
The highs and lows, the pleasures and traumas encountered over twelve English months are displayed.
Whatever the season some nasty surprises can be encountered. Nature is indeed raw in tooth and claw!

I’ve added reality to the scene by introducing facts about the changes that have happened over 60 years of my lifetime concerning environmental change and the effect on wildlife.
Man’s hobby and leisure time too has an effect. For instance, changed methods of gardening (often no garden at all) can disrupt the important food chain.
